Chicken Pot Pie Variation














With this Chicken Pot Pie recipe you can make variation with the vegetables. Any mixed vegetable you would like to add will go well with this recipe. Whether you choose to use carrots, onions, peas, cauliflower or potatoes, the choice is yours.


Easy Chicken Pot Pie

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 cups diced, cooked chicken
2 cups mixed vegetables
Dash pepper

Mix butter, blend in flour and seasonings. Add chicken broth. Mix well. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add the vegetables and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes til tender. Pour into large casserole. Arrange can of biscuits on top. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until biscuits are browned. Serves 4.
